MARIE DENTON
Marie received her B.A. from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She began working with addiction recovery in Dayton and Kettering, Ohio before relocating to Houston, Texas in 1998. After completing her Certification in Christian Counseling and Board Certification in Christian Therapy from Grace Bible Institute, Marie expanded her efforts to help others improve the quality of their lives by receiving her Masters in Psychology from The Institute of Theology & Christian Therapy. Marie uses a Biblical approach to counseling with practical steps and tools.
She created the curriculum, and with her husband Gary, taught the 2-Into-1 marriage seminars, and has facilitated several Twelve-Step recovery based programs such as Celebrate Recovery.

GARY DENTON
“My purpose is to bring enlightenment to others through the training, education, and counsel of God’s Word.”
Gary has been involved with sexual and alcohol recovery programs since 1997. He was a co-founder of the Humble Freedom Group which focused on Christian men’s recovery and life management, and began teaching a discipleship focused Bible study in 2016. Gary helped design the curriculum and was the instructor for the 2-Into-1 Marriage class and seminars along with his wife Marie.
Gary received his certification as a Christian Counselor from Grace Bible Institute and Grace Counseling Ministries. His approach to counseling involves all of his talents in teaching, research and education, but remains grounded in everyday practical tools and spiritual disciplines.
